Executive Functioning Coaching

Communication disorders can contribute to difficulties in areas called Executive Functioning. School and transitioning young adults may benefit from executive functioning assistance. Coaching focuses on improving the cognitive skills needed for goal setting, decision making, organization, planning, and self-regulation. These skills are essential for managing day-to-day tasks, problem-solving, and adapting to new situations.
An individual with executive functioning difficulties might struggle with tasks like planning, prioritizing, staying organized, managing time, or controlling impulses.
An SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) can play a key role in executive functioning coaching by helping individuals develop and strengthen these critical skills.
